Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit | Review

I don’t know about you but last year was 100% all about Matte lip products and of course I defiantly got onto the trend and fell in love but in all honesty i havent found a complete matte lip products, which last all day and i dont have to touch them up.

So when i saw Barry M was bringing out their own and in fact a limited edition selection on lip kits, it made me very intrigued. Zoella was sent these and she said they were good and they looked amazing so for the price of £6.99 for the kits and £4.99 for the singles I had to quickly get my hands on them. If you’ve read my recent drugstore haul you will see that i originally wanted the nude brown shade after swatching etc in store i wanted the shade ‘Go To’ but somehow i still managed to grab the wrong shade which was ‘Pose’ which is more of a nude pink.

I wanted to try the shade ‘Pose’ anyway before i went back to but the one i originally wanted and i was surprised how amazing it was. They are very easy to apply and extremely pigmented and that goes for the lip liner and the liquid lipstick which is in the kit. after being very suprised with how good it was i went out and brought the shade ‘Go To’ and GUYS its even better than the other one. I am in absolute love. again they applied amazing and they dry completely matte but i don’t think they are majorly drying. I went out recently and wore ‘Go To’ after far to many drinks and dancing in a club we came back to our hotel and my lipstick looked just as good as when i put it on hours prior.  I didn’t have to touch it up at all!!!

One thing I will say is that the liquid lipsticks oxidize within the first couple of minutes to putting them on. the ‘ Go To’ shade ends up being a deeper shade of brown than you think but i personally love a darker nude.

Even though ‘Pose’ isnt my normally colour shade i will still use it as it is gorgeous and not to pink.
